As Spring arrives for those of us in the north, I traveled recently downunder to Sydney, Australia, on a family visit. There, I met with the owner of McGrath, arguably Australia’s premier and fastest-growing real estate agency network. John McGrath, Founder and Executive Director, was generous with his time and introduced me to a number of his top brokers, including his new General Manager of Strategic Partnerships, Adrian Wilson. I attended the auction by McGrath of a luxury property situated in one of Sydney’s exclusive suburbs, and there experienced first-hand the extraordinary appetite of Chinese buyers to invest in the booming Australian property market.
