I have just returned from a fantastic trip to the Sotheby’s Hong Kong Fall Auctions (2-7 October), where I secured a spot on the Sotheby’s Realty desk. I met with colleagues from all across the globe, both from Sotheby’s Auction and Sotheby’s International Realty. I am always amazed at the cohesiveness of the Sotheby’s brand, the way that colleagues speak proudly and so highly of our unique brand. It is the way I also feel, and it was again reinforced amongst the represented offices including: San Francisco (Bay Area and Downtown), India, Taipei, Manila, London, Boston, Long Island (NY) and Toronto, just to name a few!
Premier Sponsorship of Sotheby’s Autumn Sale Series welcomed us on the Friday night to a preview cocktail at the Auctions rooms in the Exhibition Halls on Hong Kong Harbor. On Sunday evening Sotheby’s India Realty invited us to an insightful presentation and cocktail at the Grand Hyatt. Finally we were hosted on Monday night to another fantastic cocktail hosted by our colleagues in the Sotheby’s Hong Kong Office. We all worked hard and played hard whilst dealing with, in my case a 12 hour time difference!
